Mothers Day/ Fathers Day

Life is so crazy these days I feel like I have no time to blog anymore. It certainly is different now with 3 girlies instead of 1. My time to myself is SO limited. (still adjusting/accepting that) Anyway, speaking of crazy life I don't think I shared yet about my mothers day. Our special days of celebrating parenthood were nice. Peter and Noni made me coffee with whipped cream and pancakes with "cooked strawberries" as Noni called it. Then I went flea marketing with my mama which was so fun, found some good deals. Then for dinner we got me sushi take out, Wendy's for the girls and Taco bell for Peter and we ate in the car!! Sounds ridiculous right but that is our life these days. We would rather go through drive throughs and sit in the car then deal with 3 littles in the restraunt. It was fun. And we found out that Noni girl likes sushi!
................................................................................................................................................ I so wanted to buy a gift for my Petey but right now we can't do that. So we celebrated with food! A family hike/walk in the woods! A hand and food massage! And a handmade card!

Vacation

Vacations are such a wonderful thing. And so needed from time to time. Petey had 10 days off this past week. We spent 5 of them in Tennessee visiting my in laws. There beautiful home and cabin rental business is a perfect place to relax and enjoy Gods beautiful creation. We purposely wanted to get away so that we could relax and literally do nothing. Besides some walks around the property, playing in the creek and one or two outings we did not do much. They have a huge back deck that is covered so we spent a lot of time on there just relaxing. We have the 11 hour drive down to a science now, as long as we drive through the night it is all good. The girls watched a few movies, had some snacks and slept the rest of the time which makes the road trip quite enjoyable. The last 2 hours is always the worst because Peter is exhausted and I can barely keep my eyes open but try to in order to keep him company. The best part about the trip is that the girls get time with their Nee-Nee and Pops!! They have 7 cabins and not long after they bought the place they decided to name each cabin after one of their grandkids which I love, so every time we go we have to take a pic of the girls at their cabins!! It was so nice! The rest of the 5 days were spent at home working on our reconstruction. Peter is working on closing in our garage and making it our bedroom. So we will have a 3 bedroom house instead of 2! Yay, can't wait! Click HERE to check out Mountain Stream Lodging-Right in the middle of away from it all.

MY GIRLS!

~~~NONAH MAE~~~ I am feeling a little emotional this evening, waiting for babe #3 to come join us already (sigh...I am 40 weeks and so ready), thinking about when I was waiting for my first babe! Nonah was 11 days "late" and labor had started on day 8. I was so ready, excited, nervous, and a little usure of what to epxpect. All I knew is that I was so ready to meet my baby. I remember saying during active labor, "i want it out" "i want it out". I think thats what got me through was the strong desire to "get it out" inorder to hold him/her. I can Not believe that my first baby is 3 years old now and is going to be a big sis for the second time. She is such an amazing little person and I love her so much it hurts. I am so excited for her to experience this again now that she is older and knows what is going on. ............................................... ~~~EVEY MAGNOLIA~~~ This little one has been such a joy! She was only 2 days late and labor was a little shorter. Things are kind of a blurr when it comes to details and how I was feeling. I know I was ready though after about 2 days of labor, I was ready. She was such a mellow baby. She is changing so much right now and growing up a lot and only going to continue that in this next year. I am excited to see her with the babe and to see how she adjusts to sharing mama. We will see. These girls are such a blessing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ............................................................. I don't know when this next babe will come but it will. Soon! I can't wait! Mama of 3!! Wow!!! CrAzInEsS!!
Crafts, my girls...life!
As I have shared before my Noni girl luvs doing any kind of craft or art project. I have made it my goal atleast a few times a week (i cant do it everyday) to come up with a craft to do with her while sissy is sleeping. I recently started working with her on writing her name. It has been really neat to see her learn how to do this. Although it is not Spring weather yet there has been an increase in sunshine so we have def been enjoying that!!
