Carmel Apples

Daddy and Noni made carmel apples last night. Everybody loved them except me. I never had them before atleast not that I recall and I really wasn't missing anything. :) But the girls and daddy enjoyed them thoroughly!!

Pumpkin Farm

We went with a group of friends yesterday to a pumpkin farm! There was a hay ride, hay maze, a huge slide, corn play table, and animals to pet. It was fun! It is so neat to see Noni play with her friends. Shes starting to have an imagination and work well with others and her and another girl really hit it off!

Camping Adventure

We went camping this past weekend with my brother and sister in law just for one night. It was quite the adventure but anything with two little girlies is an adventure these days. Yes it was COLD, yes there was whining and some complaining, and a clingy baby, BUT there were memories made and it was nice. It's always fun to camp and not have all the luxuries that you have at home; no running water, outhouses, cooking everything on the fire. (for a short time) It makes you appreciate your home and everything in it so much more. We had a nice day of relaxing, eating, canoeing, and walking. Aunt Genna did a scavenger hunt with Noni which she loved and she took a nice afternoon nap in the cabin. We got to hear the train in the middle of the night which was fun. (The tracks are really close to camp) Overall we had a good time but its good to be home!

FALL Festiveness

Is festiveness a real word? I don't know but we have lots of festiveness going on around here! Yesterday we carved our pumpkin, roasted the seeds and ate them and Peter drilled our pumpkin. You'll see in the pics. It turned out really cool. A couple weeks ago Noni and I collected pine cones to go with our gourds for a center piece and she painted and decorated mini pumpkins! I made pumpkin cheesecake and plan to make either pumpkin cookies or pumpkin bread not sure yet. So lots of festiveness!
