This week was "vacation" week for the Wrights. Petey had off 10 days. (including the weekends) So we have had lots of fun family time. Mostly hanging out here at home but we've gone on some adventures and gotten pretty much everything done on our "fun things to-do list".
Big Mama! and little mama! Im 37 weeks, ahhh!
Parks are so much more fun with a 2 year old!
Bad news-Peter had to replace are hot water heater, good news-Noni has a fun new house to color and play in. Shes not sad she just loves making that face and getting a reaction from me. She does it whenever we are playing.
Peteys Birthday was on Monday and he is now 28 years old! We celebrated with a scavenger hunt for presents, Dunkin Donuts coffee and 6 donuts served in bed and a trip to Cabelas. (very manly outdoorsy store in case you dont know) He said his favorite part of the day was the donuts, he doesnt like cake very much.
She loves the outdoors but can't go anywhere without her baby these days. Which I love and think is the cutest thing!
Hanging in the woods watching daddy hang his dear stand.
Scarey I know. Petey will be hunting archery starting tomorrow. This is a true sign of Fall.
Happy weekend everyone!! and back to reality on Monday! :)

Nee-Nee and Poppy time!
My in-laws came up from Tennessee last week for a short but sweet visit. So in order to get as much time as we could with them we decided to all have dinner together every night they were here. (Mon, tues, wed.) It was so good to see them. We would have had to wait until January to see them for the holidays so we all are really glad they decided to make the trip. The grandkids especially were happy to see them and soaked up as much Nee-Nee and Poppy time as they could! I took lots of pics so enjoy!

Fall is Here!
Well I dont know if its official but it sure feels like it to me. We have had to break out the pants and hoodies and according to the forecast the cool weather is here to stay. I am actually ok with saying good bye to summer. The excitement of what is to come in about 6 weeks is making me really look forward to the fall.
What I love about Fall:
that I light candles more often-they are so homey
drink lots of hot beverages (yum)
curling up under a blanket with my hunny and my girl while we watch tv
hearty soups, stews, and chilli that are such comfort foods
hmmm what else, pumpkins, apples, hayrides, pretty leaves, its all good and makes the season so fun!
With this cooler weather I have had a great to desire to stay home more. Which if any of you really know me you know I am a social butterfly. Ever since Noni was two weeks old I have been running around doing all kinds of fun stuff with my girl. We have playdates and go shopping and have created lots of fun memories in the past two years. That being said the thought of adding a baby to our running around is kind of dreadful. I am sure I will still have my playdates and do lots of fun things but just not as much. It will be difficult to work around not one but two nap schedules and then all the stuff to bring with me, uh you get it. SO I have been staying home a little more, trying to get used to it I guess. And that pregnancy thing that they say comes towards the end of the pregnancy "nesting" really has some truth to it. I think that is kicking in. I have been rearranging and cleaning and sorting through all sorts of things that I haven't touched in a long time. Anyway.
Today we were home all day except a quick run to the library. I was in the kitchen most of the day makeing/freezing my own applesauce and then I made a big pot of chilli and some GF cornbread. Yum. It was a fun day but I am tired now. Time to just relax for the rest of the evening. :) Some pics from the day and the week. Yay FALL!!

Passionate Girl!
So I said a few posts ago that I was going to right a more sentimental post about Nonah and her birthday. I don't really know what to write so Im going to just start and see where this goes. I want to try and share with you about the little person that Nonah is becoming.
She really is becoming her own person with her own ideas and opinions. She has such a big and bold personality that has only been expressed more and more as she begins to talk more. Her vocabulary has grown immensely in the past 6 months. It amazes me how children pick up on things and learn and mature all on their own. It just happens. Yes we communicate with her and teach her things but there is a whole ton of stuff that we have not specifically taught her, she just learns by being with us. (Sorry if this seems silly to be writing about. I guess its because she is my first child, I never really witnessed first hand how quickly children grow/learn, that now seeing my own child grow up is just AMAZING.)
She is so smart and bright. She is fun and funny. She is a fiesty and passionate little chica. (ex. she started picking out her own clothes at a very young age) She is strong willed and sensitive.
She loves the outdoors, nature, birds, animals, books, puzzles, playing in the sand, playing dress up, taking care of her baby, coloring, playdough, and anything to do with Mickey mouse. She is starting to have an imagination and play a little on her own which is so cute to see.
She is 90% potty trained. Shes been wearing undies for 2 weeks now and has mostly been accident free. She does still wear a diaper to bed at night and for some naps but other wise she uses the potty. So proud of her.
She keeps calling herself a big girl and the big sister. She is so ready for our little baby to come. She hugs and kisses my belly, talks to the baby and gives it toys. We have been watching birth videos with her in order to prepare her for the birth. (She will be there for the labor and birth since we will be having a homebirth.) She loves watching the babies and says "our baby comin". I can't wait to see her with the baby.
Well thats it I guess. You sort of get to know her a little better. Noni is amazing and being her mom is the funnest, most amazing and challenging job/gift I have ever had!! I love her so much!
