Peteys 27 and can fix anything!!

Yes my hubbys 27. We celebrated on Sunday and he unfortunatly had to work. Its one thing to have to work on your birthday but its another when its a Sunday and you usually have off. He was okay with it though. It was nice cool weather which makes him happy so he actually enjoyed it. I got a couple different things and then we went out to eat for some italian food. His favorite. And becoming mine too since we found a place that offers gluten free pizza and pasta. So exciting. and delicious.

And he fixed the camera!! Im so excited. I told him I was so proud of him. He just took it apart and then put it back together. He missed 2 screws but it still works. Yay. Im so thrilled. I was really bumming about not having my camera. There were so many times when I said oh that would be a great picture. So it was fixed in time to get some birthday pics but here are some that were on there for a while.

She seriously has a shoe fetish. No matter what size or what kind she wants them on. I have started hiding them so she doesn't find them. But it is so cute!

Im bummed:(

Im bummed because my camera is broken. :( I dont know what exactly happened. I did drop it once but I thought I used it since then. I dont know but I am so sad. Ever since I had Nonah I have taken a picture at least once a day. And my blogging usually revolved around my pictures. They are what inspired my posts. I guess thats why I havent been writing much.

So Im challenging myself to write even though I dont have pics to add. We'll see. Hopefully I'll be inspired soon.

Grandparents Day

Its a little late but last Sunday was Grandparents day. And these are proud Grandparents!

Trust

Yes trust. That is what I am trying to do these days. Not trying I am doing it. With the BIG move ahead and a lot of uncertainties I am truly trusting God that these things will all work out. He knows what is best for us and is looking out for us.

“For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord,
plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give
you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and
come and pray to me and I will listen. You will seek me
and find me when you seek me with all your heart.”

This is what I have been doing to get through these days. Seeking and calling out. I have to. Absolutely have to in order to get by. I have this new fire in my heart for more of Him that I love. If I loose that fire I seek Him til I find it again. I need Him. I want Him. And I trust Him. Our lives are totally in His hands and that is so freeing. I feel like I can just sit back and enjoy the ride. I know He will take care of us. I have always known this but it has become so much more clear to me recently. Now don’t get me wrong my boat does get rocked sometimes and things get me upset but there is a trigger that is going off inside of me these days letting me know if my heart and mind isn’t in the right place. So I seek until I find. He is so faithful and is always there.

Okay so it seems like all I ever post about is Nonah and weekends. But Nonah is my life right now and weekends with my Petey are so fun so I hope you don't mind.

The weather has been so beautiful so we decided to take our laptop out back and watch some "Lost" outside. We had the chimanea going as well so after the show we just turned around and sat at the fire. So fun!

My Weekend Favs!!

Okay I know I was just complaining about missing summer but this weekend was just beautiful. I love the warm days and then having to bundle up at night is so nice. So although Im sad about Summer I am easily persuaded by Fall!

August schmugust!

So August is over. I just can not believe how time flies. August is my favorite month of the year. Not only because it’s the month of my anniversary, birthday, and now Nonis birthday but it’s one of the hottest months and is just the essence of summer. In case you didn’t know this yet I LOVE SUMMER. Its my favorite time of year for many reasons. So now that August is over it feels like summer is over. Everybody is back to school or almost and things just seem different. I know summer technically isn’t over til sept. 21st or something but it feels over. I have to go through a mourning period and then I will be okay with fall. I do love that the seasons change but I wish we could just skip over winter really fast and be back at summer.

Our week:

We had our first temper tantrum in the store this week. Nonah gets so excited when we are out and just wants to run around and touch everything. And she doesn’t listen to her name when I call it she just ignores me. Well I wouldn’t let her down and she was pissed. She was screaming. People were looking that’s for sure. I didn’t even care about the people I was just bummed I didn’t get to do my shopping. It’s so hard because I can’t reason with her and explain why I won’t let her down. So I did what I said I wasn’t going to do and bought a kiddie leash. It’s a little monkey that hugs their back and it keeps them with you. It may seem silly but for my Noni it is necessary

Me and Noni went to the beach again with my mom and cousin. It was a great way to say good bye to August. It was fun and we are becoming beach pros now. We went four times this summer which is a record for me. Ive never gone more than twice in one summer. Noni tried out her monkey on the boardwalk and got so many compliments. It was fun but I don’t have any pics because I forgot to take my camera. L Sad I know.

We also went to a local fair with some of our play date buddies and saw all kinds of animals. Nonah likes them but she doesn’t want to touch them. She did pet a bunny through the cage but the cows scared her.

We made the big decision. We are putting our house on the market. We sign the papers tomorrow. Yay. We are praying for Gods perfect timing in all of this. I know I get impatient very easily so Im trying to accept the fact that it might not happen right away. But that’s okay because it is in His hands not ours. All of your prayers are welcome! So we did some sprucing up last night and Noni followed us around the whole time. Its so much funner to work when you have a little helper!!

So its been 1 month since I got my dreads. They are really felting up well especially in the back. A few on the sides are loose but other than that they look good. I still don’t like the way they look just down so I always wear them back or with a headband. Once the sides felt up better I might like it, we’ll see. I do still love them!!

So farwell summer! It's been nice knowing you...see you in about 9 or 10 months. Uh calculating it makes it worse. ~SIGH~
